Hey, I am Warren West. I tank, I raid-lead, and for fifteen years my hobby has been turning chaotic boss fights into plans a tired roster can actually execute. Paehl is where those plans live — an archive of routes, assignments and setups, written for players who would rather kill the boss than read about killing the boss.
Why I run this site
Every tier I watch the same thing happen. A guide drops with perfect sim numbers, my guild tries it on Tuesday, and by the third wipe we are improvising anyway — because the sim never missed a kick, never had 200 ping, never had a healer disconnect mid-transition. I started writing my own notes for my own raid: short, honest, tested on live bosses with a real group behind me. Then I put them online, because guildmates kept asking for the same links.
How I lead a fight
As a tank I see the encounter from the front, which shapes everything I publish. I care about where the boss stands, when the group moves, and which cooldown covers which overlap. My prep for any boss looks the same: open the logs of our last night, find the exact second things fell apart, and build the next plan around that second. If a strategy cannot survive a missed kick and a dead battle-rez, it does not make it onto these pages.

When I am wrong
Blizzard moves numbers every week and I miss things. If you ran my route and the count came up short, or a hotfix retired my favorite build overnight, tell me — my inbox is the fastest QA department this site has. I would rather re-test on Wednesday than leave a dead guide up through the weekend.
